高山登(たかやまのぼる/美術家)
1944年 高山登は東京都豊島区長崎に生まれた。家の裏に池袋アトリエ村があり麻生三郎、丸木俊子、丸木位里らのアトリエで遊んだ。1963年 東京藝術大学美術学部絵画科油絵専攻に入学。大学二年の時、富山妙子の紹介で北海道炭坑を見る旅に出た。三年の時山口薫研究室に入り、大学院の時、山口薫さん死去のあと野見山暁治研究室になる。1968年以降枕木を造り「地下動物園」、「村」シリーズ、「のっぺらぼう」「遊殺」シリーズを個展、展覧会等で発表。1970年 TOTSUKAスペース‘70 戸塚スペース「地下動物園」東京藝術大学大学院美術研究科修士課程修了。1973年 第八回パリ国際青年ビエンナーレ。「遊殺―Headless Scenery」。1990年~1991年 P,S,1,のスタジオアーティストプログラムに参加。「遊殺―Headless Scenery」田中泯踊り参加。1995年「1970年-物質と知覚 もの派と根源を問う作家たち」サンティティエンヌ近代美術館。「遊殺―Headless Scenery」。1997年 光州ビエンナーレ 光州美術館「木霊/遊殺―Headless Scenery」原口典之、村岡三郎、小山穂太郎、田中泯、高山登。2010年 高山登展 宮城県立美術館「300本の枕木-呼吸する空間」田中泯参加。2011年 東京藝術大学退任展「枕木-白い闇×黒い闇の軌跡」東京藝術大学美術館、田中泯参加。2012年 円空賞展 岐阜県立美術館「遊殺」田中泯等と共に円空賞受賞。高山登展「ねずみとり+地下動物園+3.11」鎌倉画廊。東京藝術大学名誉教授。2017年 ジャポノラマ:1970年以降の日本のアート ポンピドー・センター・メッス。2018年 高山登展 Kayn Grifin Corcoran, Los Angels。

Noboru Takayama (artist)
Born in Tokyo in 1944. He grew up playing with such artists as Saburo Aso and Toshiko and Iri Maruki, as Nagasaki Atelier Village was just around the corner of his house. In 1963, he enrolled at Tokyo University of the Arts’ Painting Department. In his second year in college, he traveled Hokkaido visiting coal mines, with help through Taeko Tomiyama, whose painting themed on Asia and war responsibility. Takayama studied under Kaoru Yamaguchi in his third year and continued his practice under Gyoji Nomiyama in his graduate program in the same university. In 1968, Takayama began using railroad ties and presented works including Underground Zoo, Villageseries, Nopperabou (Faceless), and Yusatsuseries in his solo exhibitions and group shows. In 1970, he exhibited Underground Zooin a group show Space Totsuka ’70 at Space Totsuka (Yokohama), and in the same year, he graduated MFA at Tokyo University of the Arts. In 1973, he participated in the 8th Paris Youth Biennale and presented Yusatsu—Headless Scenery. He participated in the P.S.1 International Studio Program (1990-1991) and presented Yusatsu—Headless Scenery. Min Tanaka presented his performance at the installation site. He participated in one of the major survey exhibition of Mono-ha, Japan 1970: Matter and Perception, Mono-ha and the Search for Fundamentals (1995-1996) and presented Yusatsu—Headless Scenery. The show toured four museums in Japan as well as the Musee D’Art Moderne in Saint-Etienne in France. In 1997, he presented Kodama/Yusatsu—Headless Scenery in the 2nd Gwangju Biennale together with other artists including Noriyuki Haraguchi, Saburo Muraoka, Hotaro Koyama, and Min Tanaka. Takayama held his solo exhibition titled 300 Pieces of Railroad Ties: Breathing Spacein the Miyagi Museum of Art in 2010, and Min Tanaka performed as a part of the program. In 2011, Takayama held his solo exhibition MAKURAGI(meaning railroad ties) in the University Art Museum, Tokyo University of the Arts, commemorating his retirement from the university. Min Tanaka performed at the exhibition site. Upon receiving the Enku Grand Award in 2012, Takayama held a commemorating exhibition Yusatsuin the Museum of Fine Arts, Gifu. In the same year, he had a solo exhibition Rat Trap + Underground Zoo + 3.11in Kamakura Gallery (Kanagawa) and was appointed Professor Emeritus of Tokyo University of the Arts. He was included in Japanorama: New Vision on Art since 1970, held in Centre Pompidou-Metz (Metz, France) in 2017. In 2018, Kayn Griffin Corcoran (LA) presented his solo exhibition, Noboru Takayama.

藤村克裕(ふじむらかつひろ/美術家)
1951年帯広市で生まれ高卒まで同地で育つ。1970年上京、美術を学び始める。1982年真木画廊で初個展、以降作品発表多数。2016年日本国で三番目に狭い古本屋=「古本・おふね舎」を開店、現在に至る。2021年に久々の個展発表を予定している。

Katsuhiro Fujimura (artist)
Born in Hokkaido in 1951. In 1970, he moved to Tokyo and began studying art. He held his first solo exhibition at Maki Gallery (Tokyo) in 1982, and has actively presented numerous works. Having opened the third smallest used-book store in Japan called Used Books Ofune-ya in 2016, he continues his creative practice while operating the store. His solo exhibition is scheduled to open in 2021.

田中泯(たなかみん/ダンサー)
1974年独自の活動を開始。「ハイパーダンス」と称した新たなスタイルを発展。1978年ルーブル美術館において海外デビュー。1980年代、旧共産圏で前衛パフォーマンスを多数決行。国際的に高い評価を獲得。1985年山村へ移り住み、農業を礎とした舞踊活動を現在も継続中。2002年に映画初出演。以後映像界でも国内外で活動中。著書『僕はずっと裸だった』、共著『意身伝心』、『写真集「光合成」MIN by KEIICHI TAHARA』。

Min Tanaka (dancer)
Began his activities in 1974 and developed his own dance style called ‘hyper-dance.’ In 1978, he made an internationally debuted in the Louvre. His avant-garde performances in several former communist countries in the ’80s were highly recognized among cultural and intellectual pioneers of the time. Tanaka moved to the countryside in 1985 and has continued his dance activity based on farming to date. Since the first film appearance in 2002, he has also continued expanding his scope of activities in moving images nationally and internationally. He is an author of Boku wa zutto hadaka datta(My Barre Body) and co-authored Ishin Denshin(Conscious Body, Conscious Mind). His photobooks include Photosynthesis MIN by Keiichi TAHARA.

宇野邦一(うのくにいち/フランス文学者・批評家)
1948年松江市生まれ。フランス文学者・批評家。アルトー、ドゥルーズ研究、身体論,身体哲学を焦点としながら領域を限定しない思索・批評を続ける。著書に『アルトー 思考と身体』(白水社)、『映像身体論』、『吉本隆明 煉獄の作法』、『土方巽 衰弱体の思想』(みすず書房)、『ドゥルーズ 群れと結晶』(河出書房新社)、『政治的省察』(青土社)など。訳書にドゥルーズ『フーコー』、ドゥルーズ/ガタリ『アンチ・オイディプス』(河出書房新社)、ジャン・ジュネ『薔薇の奇跡』(光文社古典新訳文庫)、ベケット『モロイ』、『マロウン死す』(河出書房新社)などがある。
Kuniichi Uno (Scholar of French Literature, Critic)
Born in Shimane in 1948. Scholar of French Literature and critic. Focusing on the research of Antonin ArtaudandGilles Deleuze, body theories, and body philosophies, he continues his speculation and critique, expanding the realms of genre and territory. 大友良英(おおともよしひで/音楽家)
1959生。映画やテレビの音楽を山のように作りつつ、ノイズや即興の現場がホームの音楽家。ギタリスト、ターンテーブル奏者。活動は日本のみならず欧米、アジアと多方面にわたる。美術と音楽の中間領域のような展示作品や一般参加のプロジェクトやプロデュースワークも多数。震災後は故郷の福島でも活動。その活動で2012年には芸術選奨文部科学大臣賞芸術振興部門を受賞。2013年「あまちゃん」の音楽でレコード大賞作曲賞を受賞。2017年札幌国際芸術祭の芸術監督を務める。2019年NHK大河ドラマ「いだてん」の音楽を担当。90年代よりアジア各地のミュージシャンのネットワークに現在も奔走中。

OTOMO Yoshihide (musician)
Born in 1959. Guitarist and turntable player. He bases his music on experimental music such as noise and improvisation while creating a ton of music for films and TV. He has performed extensively not just in Japan but in Europe and Asia. His innovative approach has led him to create installation-based artworks crossing a border between visual art and music. As a producer, he has also extended his career, producing numerous music works and public projects. In 2012, He was awarded the Minister of Education Award for Fine Arts in the category of Promotion for his initiative in his hometown Fukushima after the Great Tohoku Earthquake. In the following year, he received the Japan Record Awards for Best Composition for his music created for Amachan, a TV drama series whose story is based in Fukushima. In 2017, he served as Artistic Director for the Sapporo International Art Festival. He creates music for Idaten, current series of Taiga drama on NHK. 村上史郎(むらかみしろう/音楽家)
1989年生まれ。4歳で盆踊りの太鼓を叩いたことが音楽の入口。東京藝術大学音楽環境創造科で作曲を学ぶ。神楽など日本古来の音をさがして各地でフィールドレコーディングを行う。2010年CCMC MOTUS賞。2013年Mick沢口氏のサラウンドによる自然音とピアノのアルバム『熊野幻想』『山河幻想』を発表。田中泯が26年間継続した山梨の山村を利用したアートフェスティバル「ダンス白州(2008年〜最終章2009年)」」での出会いをきっかけに、その後も田中泯 演出の舞踊活動で数多くの音を担当。
Shiro Murakami (musician)
Born in 1989. Drumming for Bon Odori summer dance festival at the age of four was his first inspiration for music. He studied music composition at Tokyo University of the Arts Department of Musical Creativity and the Environment. He began field recording throughout Japan in search of the sound of ancient times. In 2010, he was awarded the Motus prize for The Contemporary Computer Music Concert (CCMC). He released two soundscape albums Kumano Gensoand Sanga Gensoin 2013, collaborating his piano with surround-recorded nature sounds by Mick Sawaguchi, one of the world’s leading proponents of surround sound. Murakami participated in Dance Hakushu 2008 and the Final Dance Hakushu 2019, an annual dance and art festival which Tanaka organized for 26 years in a remote village in Yamanashi, and that has led Murakami to take part in as sound performer for a number of dance performances Min Tanaka directed.
